Competition season information
[ August 5th, 2026 - May 15th, 2027 ]
Leona's Dance Company is starting our 3rd year of the competition program. This program is specifically designed for students ages 8-16 year olds who are ready to take their dancing to a competitive level. Our Competition teams only focuse on Hip Hop and will only be competing in that style of dance. Students focus on performance training, high level hip hop skill and technique, as well as group choreography that requires dancers to be dedicated, hard working, coachable and life-lifting. If you'd like to be a part, we will be holding auditions soon!
This team will compete at 4 local competitions around Omaha - we do not travel to nationals at this time. Tuition is based on the 4 competitions, 1 costume fee, and monthly class tuition for the year. Competition tuition will be split into 3 transactions over 3 months.
*all dancers are required to take 1 regular season hip hop class in order to continue improving their skills.
try-outs
Here are a few things dancers that will be trying out need to know before auditions:
1. Fill out audition form.

2. Date of Audition: July 18, 2026 @10:00am-11:00am (Dancers can wear athletic attire and tennis shoes.)
3. Results will be emailed out the following week
